Setting up Web Meeting in Web Conference Enabled Room

Issue/Question

How do I connect to zoom in a web conference enabled room?

How do I connect to WebEx in a Lee Med conference room?

Environment

• web conferencing (Zoom, WebEx, MS Teams, other)
• web conference enabled classroom or conference room

Resolution

Note: Some Smart Classrooms and conference rooms have web conferencing capability. Lee Med rooms with this capability are L15, 103, 106, 108, 110, 201, 202F, 301, 308, 316, and 327.  For connecting to web conferences in other rooms, follow Setting up Web Conferencing in Conference Rooms or Classrooms

Note: Zoom meetings can also be connected using videoconferencing with SIP in rooms 106, 110, 201, and 202F

1. Sign into the room computer with your USD credentials
2. Start the room equipment by tapping the Crestron touch panel, or opening the xPanel on the room computer
3. Tap Presentation & Webconferencing Mode on the touch panel or xPanel
4. Connect to the web meeting through the room computer, room laptop, or other laptop
   Note: Ensure HDMI video cable and USB cable are both connected if using a laptop
   Note: Control camera through the touch panel or XPanel
