Requesting to Add or Remove Access to Shared Mailbox

Issue/Question

These people need access to a shared mailbox

I lost my access to a shared mailbox

I need access to my department email

I no longer need access to these shared mailboxes

Environment

  • Microsoft Outlook
  • Microsoft Exchange

Resolution

Note: You cannot request access for yourself

  1.  Please contact the Service Desk with the following information: 
    1. The name of the employee(s)
    2. What level of access they should have
      1. Full Access
      2. Send As access
      3. Send on Behalf of access
    3. The name of the shared mailbox
