How do I reset my password
I forgot my password
I am having trouble logging into my USD account. I have forgotten my password and need help to reset it

Note: Your university password provides you with access to many network resources. To protect your privacy and data from being compromised it is important that you choose a password that will be difficult for others to guess.

If you remember your current password

Navigate to Change Your Password

If you do not know your password

Navigate to Password Reset
If you are unable to answer the security questions, please contact the Service Desk

If you have a Vendor account

Please contact the Service Desk with the following information
1. Account name
2. Phone number

Password Guidelines

Minimum length of 8 characters
Must not be a word found in the dictionary
Must contain at least one uppercase and one lowercase letter
Must contain at least one number or special character

Do
Use at least eight characters Use a password with mixed-case letters Use a password that contains alphanumeric characters Use special characters, like (& @ * $) Use a seemingly random selection of letters and numbers Use a password that can be typed quickly without looking at the keyboard Change passwords regularly
