The following requirements have been put in place to help you in creating a strong secure password:
- Minimum length of 8 characters
- Must not be one of your previous passwords
- Must contain a character from 3 of the 4 following categories
- Uppercase letter
- Lowercase letter
- Number
- Special character
Best practices on setting and using your password:
- Use a unique password for each of your online accounts
- Don’t share a password with anyone. Not even a friend or family member
- Set a password easy for you to remember but difficult for others to guess. Consider using a memorable phrase like "6MonkeysRLooking^"
- If you don’t want to memorize multiple passwords, consider using a password manager
- Change passwords immediately on accounts you suspect may have been compromised
- Don't use dictionary words
