I forgot my password
I am having trouble logging into my USD account. I have forgotten my password and need help to reset it
Resetting my password
I want to change my password.
My password manager says my password was found online and tells me to change it.
Environment

- Password Self-Service

Resolution
Your university password provides you with access to many network resources. See Password Requirements and Best Practices
Don't know your password
- Browse to RapidIdentity
- Enter your username or email address
- Click Go
- Click Forgot Password?
Note: If no alternate email or phone number is on file the Forgot Password? link will not be available and you will need to contact the Service Desk for assistance
Note: if username is typed incorrect or with a space the Forgot Password? link will not be available, Use Finding My USD Username
- A one time code will be sent To:
- email address associated with account, if there is one on file
- If no email, text message will be sent to the mobile phone number on file
- Enter the code and click Go
Note: If you don't receive the code, click Try another method
- Set new password
Note: You cannot reuse your last 10 passwords
- Click the to verify passwords match
- As you set your password each requirement you have met will change from red to green
Know your password
- Log into RapidIdentity
- In the upper right corner click Your Name
- Click Change Password
Note: You cannot reuse your last 10 passwords
- Enter Current Password, New Password & Confirm new password
Note: Click the to verify passwords match
- Click Save
