Pharos Printing

Overview

Pharos is a print management system designed to work with printers and copiers across campus. The system utilizes your USD username and password to send print requests to designated printers. After you approve the print to be completed, the printing charges will be deducted from your Print Allowance.

Pharos software provides direct printing and hold-and-release printing. Direct printing is used in computer labs to print from the lab computers or your personal laptop directly to the lab printers. UPrint is the hold-and-release system.  When you print a job, it goes into a queue where it is held at any multi-function copier until retrieved by you.

To print from your personal laptop, click Install Pharos button and follow the instructions.  The Pharos printing software is already installed on the lab computers.
