Printing to Multifunction Copier using UPrint

Cause

UPrint is a printing feature of Pharos Uniprint, allowing you to print from your laptop or desktop and release the print job from any of the UPrint stations.  See Multifunction Copier Locations for a complete list of locations.

Resolution

Note: Remove Toshiba from list of printers

Note: If on the USD Sioux Falls campus, follow Pharos Printer Installer at USD - Sioux Falls for installation

Note:  Chromebooks are not supported for Pharos printing

1. Install the UPrint Pharos package on your device
   • Mac
     • Download installer package and open
     • Run TOSHIBA_ColorMFP.dmg and follow prompts to install
     • Run popup.pkg and follow prompts to install
   • Windows
2. Print your documents to the UPrint printer
3. Enter Username when prompted
   • This is the same username you log on to the computer with, do not include @usd.edu
4. Tap or Swipe your University ID at the Copier, or log in using your username and password
   • See Multifunction Copier Locations for a complete list of locations.
5. Choose your Coyote Cash or Department Cost Center
   • UPrint does not use Pharos Print Balance
6. Choose the documents you wish to print and tap Print Selected
   • You will be charged for the print job at this time
   • Your documents are only stored on the print server for 1 hour before they are deleted automatically
