How do I install Pharos on my laptop
Environment
- Personal computer
- Network printer
- MyUSD Portal
- Pharos
Cause
Any USD student, faculty or staff member with a current Coyote Card and USD username and password can print in any of the labs where Pharos is available.
Resolution
Note: Personal laptops are not permitted to be connected to non-Pharos network printers
Note: Chromebooks are not supported for Pharos printing
- Download and install the appropriate Pharos printer installer (USD login required) for the desired printer
- Open and run the file to install
If you are unable to install the Printers, please follow Pharos Not Installing
Note: If you are connected to a VPN laptop printing will not work
