Answer

What is docReader in ReadSpeaker?

ReadSpeaker docReader is a web-based tool that allows users to listen to the text of an online document such as a PDF or Word document, while reading it. The tool uses text to speech technology to transform the text into sound. By having the text read aloud to you, you can understand the text more easily.

DocReader also offers synchronized highlighting of the text being read, on a word-by-word and/or sentence-by-sentence basis. A toolbar at the top of the page enables you to choose a document page and stop and start the reading. When you click the Listen button in the toolbar, the full page will be read section by section in the order defined in the document.

The toolbar also offers various other features. You can control the viewing mode, reading speed, text appearance, and highlighting. Selecting text enables you to listen to that section, have it translated or look it up in the dictionary.
