How do you create a randomized quiz using the question pool? 

Answer

Question pool is an option given when creating a quiz and it is an effective way to prevent cheating on quizzes as they ensure each learner receives a unique set of questions.

  1. Click on the Assessments tab, and choose Quizzes
  2. Click New Quiz and give it a name
  3. Click Add/Edit Questions
  4. Click Add and choose Question Pool
  5. Add a title to your question pool
  6. If you select Import “Browse Question Library” and select the quiz you want to add questions from
  7. Select the number of questions you want randomly added in the box under Number of Questions to Select. A dynamic preview is automatically generated when questions are imported into a question pool and you can see them on the side panel. The preview allows instructors to quickly get an idea of how the question pool will appear to learners when taking the quiz
  8. Select the number of points you want each question to be worth under Points per Question
  9. Click Done Editing Questions
  10. Click Save and Close
