Where can I use my Coyote Card?

Can I use Flex dollars at off-campus vendors?

Cause

Your Coyote Card will be your single most important piece of identification here at USD. This multi-purpose ID will be your identification, door access, meal, and library card.  View the list of accepted vendors

Note: Coyote Card Mobile does not replace your physical Coyote Card.  A Coyote Card is still required, it must be carried at all times and upon request must be shown or surrendered to USD Officials.

Resolution

Note: off-campus vendors accept Coyote Cash only

Types of Funds:

1. Coyote Cash
   1. Debit account that can be used at all flex locations, as well as many locations around Vermillion
   2. Funds can be used all year round and remain on your account per policy
   3. You may also use Coyote Cash at on-campus vending and laundry machines
   4. Printing funds when printing Pharos funds have been depleted
2. Flex
   1. Dollars that will come out of your selected meal plan each semester
   2. You may carry over flex dollars from fall to spring semesters
   3. You CANNOT carry over after the spring semester
   4. If you run out of flex, you may purchase additional add-on flex dollars
      Note: keep an eye out for promotions featured by Campus Dining! Bonus Flex dollars are frequently offered
3. Pharos
   1. Anyone with a current Coyote Card and USD username and password can print in any of the labs where Pharos Uniprint is available
      Note: Visit the Coyote Card Office in the MUC to obtain a Coyote Card and visit Accounts Pickup to determine your USD username
   2. There is a $28 Pharos allotment for each academic year
