Unable to Control BluRay/DVD Player with XPanel or Touch Panel

Issue/Question

The BluRay player cannot be controlled with the touch panel or XPanel application

The buttons for the DVD control on the touch panel or XPanel application do not control the DVD player

Environment

  • Classroom
  • Smart classroom
  • Conference room

Cause

The IR emitter has fallen off the DVD/BluRay player

The IR driver is incorrect

There is a hardware issue with the control system

Resolution

  1.  Please contact the Service Desk with the following information: 
    1. Building
    2. Room number
    3. A detailed description of the issue
