Resetting Phone Voicemail PIN

Issue/Question

Can't listen to voicemail with passcode/pin

Voice mail not accepting passcode/pin

I cannot delete my messages

Can I get my phone password reset

Environment

  • Cisco Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) phone
  • Voicemail

Resolution

Note: If the PIN has been changed from the default and is for a main department line, contact the Service Desk for a manual PIN reset

Note: For main department lines, follow Access Voicemail for Phones Migrated to Webex Calling

  1. On the web
    ​​​​​​​Note: Try this first if you are locked out of your voicemail from your phone
    1. Sign in to the Webex web portal 
    2. Click Settings
    3. Click Calling
    4. Click Voicemail
    5. Click Reset voicemail PIN
    6. Follow the instructions on screen to change your pin
  2. On the phone  
    1. Follow Access Voicemail for Phones Migrated to Webex Calling
