Smart Classrooms

Overview

There are over 180 Smart Classrooms at USD locations. All classrooms offer presentation ability, while some offer enhanced functions such as web/video conferencing or lecture recording.

Basic Smart Classrooms include:
- Room PC
- Laptop connection
- Pen enabled display or Smart Board
- Document Camera
- Projector/TV display
- Sound system for audio playback

Enhanced Smart Classrooms include Basic Smart Classroom functionality, plus:
- Web or Video Conferencing capability
- Wireless microphone
- Lecture recording (Panopto)

Service Offerings include:
- Use the Request Recording button to submit a request for Lecture Capture (Panopto) which allows you to record lectures that are organized for students to browse
- Use the Report Issue button to Report Smart Classroom Issues which will connect you with professionals that are trained to assist with the classroom technology
- Use the Request Training button to submit a request for Smart Classroom Training and receive one-on-one training for teaching in the classroom
- Use the Request Software Installation button to submit a Software Installation Request for Classrooms that can be used for instruction
