Applying Style to your Images

Question

How do I apply a picture style to my image in Word?

Answer

Picture Styles work similarly to the other quick styles you'll find in strategic places throughout Word. When you select a picture in your document, the contextual Picture Tools become available on the Ribbon. The Picture Styles have their own group in the middle of the Format tab. Clicking the drop down button in the dialogue box of the picture styles menu, will make quick style options appear.

To edit your picture further, you can right click on the image.  From there a new toolbar box will pop up on the page. Select Format Picture. This will bring up the Format Picture toolbar on your screen that has many tools for editing your image.
