View page margins

Question

How do I view page margins? 

Answer

  1. Click the File tab and then Options. 
  2. Go to the Advanced tab and scroll until you get to the Show Document Content section. 
  3. Check the Show Text Boundaries box and hit Ok. 

TIP: You can view page margins in either Print Layout view or Web Layout view, and the text boundaries do not appear on the printed page.
