Creating a Pivot Table Chart in Excel

Question

How to create a PivotTable Chart in Excel?

Answer

To create a chart from your pivot table, simply go to the PivotTable Analyze tab, select Pivot Chart under the Tools group.  The Insert Chart dialog box and select the chart you would like to create and click OK.

Once you have created a chart from your pivot table data the Pivot Chart Tools tab will appear and you have the option of formatting the chart.

On the Design tab, in the Chart Styles group, click the More button to see all the choices, and then click the style you want.

The great thing about creating a chart from a Pivot Table is that the chart is interactive and you can actually filter data from within the chart.
