How to filer row/subject data in Excel?

There are also some filters that are automatically put into the pivot table. For example, you should see a downward arrow above the Subject column.  
                                                          

Once you have selected all or just a few of the areas you will see the downward arrow change to a filter symbol.  This is letting the viewer know that the column has been filtered.
