Lockdown Browser Date and Time Restrictions via D2L

Question

How do you enable date and time restrictions on Lockdown Browser in D2L? 

Answer

In order to set an exact date range for when the quiz will take place, you will need to set a Start Date and Time and an End Date and Time. You also have the option to display this event in the D2L calendar.

  1. Navigate to the Assessments tab then Quizzes
  2. Find the quiz you want to set a time limit for and push the drop down arrow next to it.
  3. Select Edit
  4. Enter your date in the Due Date option that will appear on the main screen under the quiz name. 
     

Timing can be a crucial element to a quiz. Within D2L you are able to have No Time Limit or Enforce a Time Limit, if you choose to have one, you then will need to set the length in minutes and you can always display the clock to students so that they are aware how much time they have. To locate this section, go to the Timing and Display tab to the right.
