Enabling Multi-factor Authentication for Office 2013

Issue/Question

I cannot sign into Office 2013 after setting up Multi-factor Authentication.

  • Duo

Cause

To enable modern authentication for any Windows devices that have Office 2013 installed, you need to set specific registry keys.

Resolution

There are two options for resolution

  1. Install Office 365
  2. Please contact the Service Desk for assistance with enabling Outlook 2013
