Creating or Modifying a Schedule in Microsoft Shifts

How do I create a schedule in Microsoft Shifts

Environment

  • Microsoft Shifts
  • Microsoft Teams

Resolution

  1. Launch Microsoft Teams or navigate to the Web Version 
  2. Click 
  3. Click Shifts 
    Note: 
    Pin Shifts by right clicking Shifts and clicking Pin
  4. Click 
  5. Click appropriate Team or Click New Schedule
    Note: 
    New Schedule will prompt to select the team and confirm
  6. Modify Schedule 
    1. To create a new group
      1. Click Add Group
      2. Click 
      3. Click Rename Group
      4. Enter group name
      5. Click Ok
    2. To add existing team members to a group
      1. Click Add People
      2. Type Name
      3. Click Add
    3. To add a shift
      1. Double-click a date in the person's row
      2. Fill out the form as appropriate
      3. Click Save
  7. Click Share with Team
