Reporting Projector Screen Will Not Raise Up or Down

Issue/Question

The projector screen will not raise up when I use the touch panel or XPanel application

The projector screen will not lower when I use the touch panel or XPanel application

The projector screen will not raise up when I pull on the screen

The projector screen will not pull down when I pull on the string

Environment

• Smart Classroom
• Classroom

Cause

The projector screen is not an electric screen

The control system is locked up

The electric screen is having a hardware issue

The projector screen has been pulled down too far past its normal down position and is stuck

Resolution

1. If the screen is a pull-down screen, the screen control buttons on the touch panel / Xpanel will not work
2. For a pull-down screen, try gently pulling the screen out at an angle and gently pulling down in a short movement
3. If the screen is an electric screen, please contact the Service Desk with the following information: 
   1. Building
   2. Room number
   3. A detailed description of the issue
