Login to usd.textbookx.com not working

Issue/Question

I have been trying to log into Akedemos online bookstore.  All I get is an unhandled exception page. 

Environment

  • usd.textbookx.com
  • USD Online Bookstore

Cause

Authentication not working, possibly a misconfiguration of SimpleSAML.

Resolution

  1. Clear browser cache & cookies
  2. Try to login again
  3. If you are not getting the exception page, follow Online USD Bookstore Login Error or Course Missing
  4. If the steps above do not work, please contact USDOnlineBookstore@vitalsource.com with the following information:
    1. Name of the website you were trying to access (usd.textbookx.com)
    2. Is connection to usd.textbookx.com through a VPN?
    3. Indicate if you were redirected to the unhandled exception page
    4. Indicate if you sent an error report from the unhandled exception page (grey button- send error report)
    5. Copy the tracking number on the unhandled exception page which makes it possible to locate your session log
