Requesting an Email Domain to Whitelist

Issue/Question

Please whitelist the email domain for a service.

Our department uses a service that sends email, and we do not want the messages blocked or marked as SPAM.

Environment

  • Exchange
  • Outlook
  • Email

Cause

Companies that legitimately send mass emails need to be approved prior to sending mail as usd.edu. 

Resolution

  1.  Please contact the Service Desk with the following information: 
    1. Domain(s) sending email
    2. Name and brief description of the service
    3. IT Security will review the request
