Cause

There are many reasons why this service may not be working

Resolution

  1. Restart your computer
  2. Restart DUO device
  3. After typing in username and password, approve the Duo Push
  4. You must be coming from a US based IP address

Alternately, you can do this

  1. Open Duo app on smart phone
  2. Touch Duo-Protected University of South Dakota
    1. Take note of passcode displayed
  3. Open the Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client on your computer
  4. Make certain bast.usd.edu is populated
  5. Click Connect
  6. Enter your user name and password
  7. After your password type a comma and the passcode displayed on your phone (example xxxxxxxx,948233)
  8. Click OK

If that does not work, please contact the Service Desk for assistance with this issue
