Copier paper error Flashing Red

Issue/Question

Copier is flashing red and showing an error Load 11x17 paper.  (Type: Plan Paper 1/Plain Paper2)

Environment

  • Copier
  • Sharp
  • Papercut

Cause

Job was sent to copier that does not have the special paper type or size

Resolution

  1. Error Load 11x17 paper.  (Type: Plan Paper 1/Plain Paper2)
    • Press Check Job
    • Far right-hand side shows reselect paper
    • Press Stop/Delete
    • Press Delete
  2. Go back to check the file you are trying to print is set to a supported paper size
  3. If you are still having issues please contact the Service Desk with the following information: 
    1. Error Message
    2. Copier Location
