Issue/Question

Copier is flashing red and showing an error Load 11x17 paper.  (Type: Plan Paper 1/Plain Paper2)

Copier is flashing red and showing an error Load B4 paper.  (Type: Plan Paper 1/Plain Paper2)

• Papercut

Cause

Job was sent to copier that does not have the special paper type or size

Resolution

1. Sharp copier paper size errors—often appearing as Load Paper, Paper Size Mismatch or Paper Empty—occur when the print job settings do not match the loaded tray's paper size or type
   • Error Load 11x17 paper.  (Type: Plan Paper 1/Plain Paper2)
   • Paper Size Mismatch
   • Incorrect paper type
     • e.g., set to Heavy or photo paper but plain paper is loaded​​​​​
2. ​​​​​​​Steps to clear the error on the Copier
   1. Press Check Job
   2. Far right-hand side shows reselect paper
   3. Press Stop/Delete
   4. Press Delete
3. Go back to check the file you are trying to print is set to a supported paper size
