1. When purchasing software, there are several reviews that will take place
2. This article gives more information about the Data Governance review and approvals 
3. ITS will need answers to the following questions to be able to get Data Steward Approvals
   • What data is involved? 
   • Is the data FERPA data?
   • Why do you need the data? 
   • Where are you getting the data? 
   • What are you doing with the data?  
   • If data is shared, how is it being shared? 
   • Who has access or will have access to the data? 
   • Where is the data being held/stored? 
   • Is role based access available?
   • Is there any functionality of this software that is provided by another vendor?
   • Is integration needed with Microsoft Online, Google, Azure, etc?
   • SSO and MFA will be required for login
4. ITS will add this information to the request and arrange to get approvals
   Note: it may be necessary to have a meeting with the data steward
