Excel Spreadsheets Being Finicky

Issue/Question

I am working on excel spreadsheets and when I try to highlight or change a highlight color, it won't open or it shows up faintly, yet I cannot click on anything

Environment

  • Windows 10
  • Excel 365

Cause

There are many things that cause this issue.

Resolution

  1. Close all open applications
  2. Reboot computer
  3. Try highlighting in Excel again
