How do I block an email address from sending messages to me?

Environment

• Email
• Outlook
• Outlook Web App (OWA)
• Office 365

Cause

Blocked senders are domains and people you don't want to receive email messages from. Messages received from any email address or domain in your blocked senders list are sent directly to your Junk Email folder. For more details, see Blocked senders.

Resolution

1. Log into http://mail.usd.edu
2. At the top of the screen, select Settings  
3. Click Mail
4. Click Junk Email
5. Under Blocked Senders or Domains Click Add
6. Type the full email address you wish to block
7. Press enter
8. Verify the email address is listed
