Editing Panopto Recordings in D2L

Question

How do I edit a Panopto recording?

Answer

1. Open Panopto in D2L
2. When on the Manage Recordings window, click on Edit next to the video you wish to edit
3. To trim a recording, drag the handles to where you want the recording to begin and end
   1. The segments that will be cut will be highlighted in gray
   2. To split the trimmed area into multiple sections, click and drag between the current handles. Adjust the new handles to highlight the portion of recording you want removed 
   3. You can restore a video to its original form at anytime
4. Once you are done editing the video, click Apply in the top right-hand corner
