Searching within a OneNote notebook

Question:

How do you search within a OneNote Notebook?

Answer

Having the ability to search within a notebook is very effective. There are two ways we can search:

  1. Go to the search bar at the upper right corner of the OneNote page
  2. Type in the word you are looking for
  3. Click ENTER

 or

  1. Hold down the CTRL + F
  2. Type in the word you are looking for

Both methods produce the same search box.  Once in the search box the drop-down menu allows the user to select whether you would like to search within the section, section group, this notebook or all notebooks.
