How to check out equipment to customers in Cheqroom

Environment

Resolution

  1. If you are a student, faculty, or staff member wanting to check out equipment, please follow Equipment Checkout, Reserving Equipment, Checking out Hardware to reserve and check out equipment with Cheqroom

CHEQROOM ADMINS ONLY

  1. Open the Cheqroom shortcut on the homescreen of the Service Desk iPad
  2. Sign into Cheqroom using SSO
    Note:
    If the previous user is automatically signed in you will need to close all browsers on the device and re-open the Cheqroom shortcut or a private/incognito browsing window to sign in
  3. Select appropriate Workspace and Location in the top left panel
  4. Locate the user's reservation
  5. Select their reservation
  6. Click Proceed to checkout in the upper right-hand corner
  7. Verify the user's contact phone number
  8. Put in today's date for the signed agreement 
    Note: The agreement must be signed at every checkout
  9. Click Check out in the upper right hand corner
  10. Click Actions
  11. Select Generate PDF...
  12. Select User Agreement
    Note: Direct customer to the Checkout Rules on the desk before they sign
  13. Scroll down and click the pencil icon 
  14. Have the user sign the iPad
  15. Select Generate
  16. Provide the user with the needed equipment
  17. Checkout is now complete
