Receiving Error When Connecting to Network Share on WiFi

Issue/Question

I cannot connect to the network share drive when connected to WiFi

The share drive works when laptop is docked or using wired connection, but not WiFi

Error: Network Error.  Windows cannot access \\server.name\  Check the spelling of the name. Otherwise, there might be a problem with your network. To try to identify and resolve network problems, click Diagnose.

Cause

Incorrect role assigned in Packetfence

Resolution

  1.  Please contact the Service Desk with the following information: 
    1. Name
    2. NI number of the computer
    3. MAC address of the device
