Enabling Zoom Automatic Machine Captions

Issue/Question

 I need to enable the auto machine captioning in my zoom account

Environment

• Zoom
• Closed Caption
• Automatic Machine Captions

Cause

New recordings are now set to automatic Machine Captions after the recording is closed

Resolution

1. Zoom is set to generate Automatic Machine Captions for any new Recording
2. If you need Live captioning during a meeting
   1. Log into usd.zoom.us with your USD email address and password
   2. Click Settings on the left hand side
   3. Click Meeting along the top menu
   4. Click In Meeting (Advanced)
   5. Scroll to Automated captions and enable
   6. Once this is set, you may need to click More in a meeting and toggle Captions
