Make a Call with Cisco Jabber
Environment

- Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)
- Video Conferencing
- Softphone
Cause
Use Cisco Jabber to call anyone you need to be in touch with
Resolution
Note: Using the softphone feature allows you to easily place, receive, and manage telephone calls using your computer See Setting Jabber Softphone Audio
- Click
- Click the keypad icon
- Click on the keypad to dial the number you want
- Click Call
Note: You can also use the numbers on your keypad
Note: You can use the backspace to correct any dialing mistakes
Call Someone from Your Contact List
- Click
- Click the name of the person you want to call
- Click Call
Call Someone While Messaging
- From your conversation window, Click Call from the top-right corner
Call from the Directory
- From the top-right corner click in the Search or Call box
- Type the name of the person you wish to call
- Hover your mouse over their name
- Click Call
