Issues Logging Into USD Housing Portal (StarRez)

Issue/Question

Not able to log into StarRez with no error, it is not loading.

I get an error when logging into StarRez, an error has occured, please contact your administrator

I cannot log into StarRez right now but I was able to earlier

When I use the StarRez link, it won’t load the page

Students not able to access housing application

Environment

Resolution

1. Access the Housing Portal via StarRez
   •  USD- Student SSO Login
   • Other users access Housing Portal
2. An error is most often seen when using a phone to complete the housing application, a computer is suggested
3. Clear the cache on your browser, or use a different browser
4. If this is the first time the error has occurred, it may be timing-dependent, trying later may solve the issue (after clearing your browser cache)
5. If none of the above help, please contact University Housing for assistance
   1. Housing will confirm the person is setup in StarRez properly
