Resolution
Enabling Cloud Recording
- Sign in to Zoom
- Click Sign In
- Sign in with your USD credentials
- Click Settings
- Click Recording
- Verify that Cloud Recording setting is enabled
- Select any preferences you would like
- Check Automatic Recording if you want recording to start by default
Note: Automatic Recording should only be enabled if necessary as USD's Zoom contract has limited recording storage
Starting a Recording
- Start a meeting as the Host
- Click the Record button in the Zoom toolbar
- Select Record to the Cloud
- To stop recording, click Pause/Stop Recording or End Meeting
Note: See Recording with Zoom in the Classroom for additional instruction on using Zoom in a classroom
Accessing Recordings
- Sign in to Zoom
- Click Sign In
- Sign in with your USD credentials
- Click Recordings
- Find the desired recording and select Share or Download
- For more information see Zoom's documentation on Cloud Recording
Note: Zoom will not delete any recordings. Deleting recordings is the responsibility of the account that did the recording. At this time, USD did not set any time limits by default.
