D2L Course Notifications Not Showing Up

Issue/Question

D2L notifications on the main page that alert for other students posting on the discussion boards is not working

Environment

• Desire2Learn (D2L)
• Apple Safari
• Google Chrome

Cause

Safari does not update the D2L notifications as fast as Chrome

Resolution

1. Log into D2L using Chrome
