Issue/Question

Can you please confirm that our fax number works?

Environment

  • Toshiba Multi-Function Copier (MFC)
  • Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)

Cause

MFC was moved to a different location away from its phone port

Resolution

  1. From an alternate phone, call the fax number to determine if FAX tones are heard
  2. From the fax machine in question, send a one page black and white test fax to 888-473-2963
    1. A faxed reply should be received back in approximately five minutes

Note: In summer of 2021, USD's dialing out process changed. 9-1 is no longer needed for phone/fax numbers
