Unable to Write with Pen on Monitor in Smart Classroom

Issue/Question

Unable to write with the pen on the Sharp or SMART monitor in a smart classroom

Environment

• Smart classroom
• Classroom
• Sharp Monitor

Cause

Monitor is set to touch and not pen and touch

The USB cable has been disconnected from the monitor

Resolution

Sharp Monitor

1. Locate the menu button on the side of the Sharp monitor and press once
2. Tap the pen and touch icon on the menu
3. Verify that the USB cable is connected to the monitor

SMART Monitor

1. Verify that the USB cable is connected to the SMART monitor
2. Verify that the SMART Ink is turned on in the SMART Ink settings
