Disconnecting from Wireless Internet

Issue/Question

I am unable to connect to wi-fi via sdsecure or eduroam
Connected to SDSecure or Eduroam but no Internet
How to disconnect from SDVisitor
Connection drops every 20 minutess

Environment

  • macOS
  • Windows 10
  • Wireless
  • SDVisitor
  • Eduroam
  • SDSecure

Cause

Previously connected to SDVisitor wireless internet or Credentials may have wireless violation

Resolution

Windows

  1. Click the Network icon on the lower right corner of your screen
  2. Click Network Settings
  3. Click Manage Wi-Fi settings
  4. Under Manage known networks, click the wireless you want to remove
    1. SDVisitor
    2. Eduroam
    3. SDSecure
  5. Click Forget
  6. Proceed with Connecting to Wireless Internet

Mac OS

  1. Click the symbol along the top menu
  2. Click on Open Network Preferences... at the bottom of the drop down menu
  3. Click on WiFi in the menu on the left corner of the box
  4. Click Advanced located at the bottom right of the pop-up window
  5. Select the wireless you want to remove
    1. ​​​​​​​SDVisitor
    2. Eduroam
    3. SDSecure
  6. Click the minus sign icon
  7. Click OK
  8. Click Apply
  9. Close network pop up box
  10. Proceed with Connecting to Wireless Internet
