Student needs a faculty/staff @usd.edu email account

Note: Process formerly known as exchange.usd.edu migration

Environment

  • Exchange Online

Cause

User goes from being a student to a faculty/staff affiliation

Resolution

  1. Department must complete an Account Request for any of the following 
    Note: if this person is still a full-time student ITS no longer converts them to @usd.edu
    • Faculty
    • Staff
    • Temp 
    • Adjunct
    • Clinical Faculty
    • Affiliate
  2. If the account request has been submitted by the department, and you still have questions please Contact the Service Desk and provide the following information:
    1. Account Request ticket number or name of the person who submitted the request
    2. Student's name
    3. Student's @coyotes.usd.edu email address
    4. Reason for account change
