Overview
Desire2Learn (D2L) is USD’s learning management system which is used to offer all of the online courses. It is utilized by The University of South Dakota and the five other South Dakota Board of Regents universities.
Click the Access D2L button to log in
- Username: Full USD email address (First.Last@coyotes.usd.edu)
- Password: USD password
Note: Users who authenticated internally or use a manually created account must use D2L Local Login

Benefits
D2L is designed for the mobile world and the platform can be accessed from any mobile device for a true anywhere, anytime, any device learning experience.
Once you have logged into D2L use the My Home page to navigate through each of the courses in which you are currently enrolled. The My Courses widget is organized by term and by the department. To access a course, just click on its name

Target Completion Date
Student access to D2L is not available until the student has completed registration
Faculty Access to D2L will not be available until the epaf has been processed by HR and you are listed as the Instructor of Records for a course
