No Internet access
Could connect to wifi but won't work for any webpages
Zoom disconnects and has a bad connection

Eduroam works on my phone/laptop but will drop connection in certain areas, such as the dorms

Note: Do not use Randomized MAC if provided that option
- Forget This Network and reconnect
- You should be connected to the eduroam network except when using wireless only gaming device
- To forget other networks:
- Click the Wireless Icon on your computer or phone
- Right click or press hold on SDVisitor
- Choose forget this network
- Repeat steps b & c for SDsecure or any other network you are connected to
- Connect to the Eduroam wifi network, Connecting to eduroam
- Xbox 360, Xbox One, Xbox Series S and X, Playstations 1-5. The supported method of connecting these devices is via ethernet cable. See article Registering Gaming Systems to connect these devices

Update Wireless Driver
- Connect computer to network
Note: Use wired connection if necessary
- Right click
- Click Device Manager
- Click beside Network adapters
- Right click the wireless card entry
- Click Update driver
- Click Search automatically for updated driver software
- Connect to wireless network
Reset Wireless network card
- Right click
- Click Device Manager
- Click beside Network adapters
- Click the wireless card entry
- Press DELETE
- Click Uninstall
- Restart the computer
Note: System will reinstall the wireless card
- Connect to wifi network again
Manually configure wireless connection
- Click
- Click Control Panel
- Click Network and Internet
- Click Network and Sharing Center
- Click Set up a new connection or network
- Click Manually connect to a wireless network
- Click Next
- Enter or select the following
- Network name: eduroam
Note: eduroam must be lowercase
- Security type: WPA2-Enterprise
- Encryption type: AES
- Click Next
- Click Change connection settings
- Click the Security tab
- Click Settings next to Microsoft: Protected EAP (PEAP)
- Click Configure... next to Secured password (EAP-MSCHAP v2)
- Remove the checkmark next to Automatically use my Windows Logon name and password (and domain if any)
- Click OK
- Click OK on all open dialog boxes
- A notice will appear requesting additional logon information
- Enter your USD email address into the Username field
- Enter your USD password into the Password field
- Click OK
- Open your internet browser
- Click I accept the terms on the Authentication page
- Your connection should register in a few minutes
Adust Power Management
- Right click on the battery icon in the lower right hand corner by the clock
- Click on Power Options
- Click on Change plan settings
- Adjust the time in the drop downs to increase all 4 options
- Click Save changes
