How to install Webex

Environment

Cause

To install Webex Chat, download the Webex App from the official Cisco Webex website and follow the installation steps for your device.

Resolution

1. Download from https://www.webex.com/downloads.html 

For Windows

1. Install from Company Portal on your USD Windows computer
2. Search for Webex or browse Apps for Webex
3. Click Webex
4. Click Install
5. Webex will be installed on your computer
6. After install Sign in with your full USD email address and password

For Mac

1. Open USD ITS Self Service on your USD Apple computer
2. Click Install under Webex
3. Webex will be installed on your computer
4. After install Sign in with your full USD email address and password

For Mobile Devices

1. Visit the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android)
   1. Search for “Webex” and install the app by Cisco Systems​​​​​
      ~OR~
2. Scan QR code to download mobile app
   

For Web Access

1. You can also use Webex directly in your browser by visiting web.webex.com
