How can a view the project I am a stakeholder on?
I have been assigned a task and do not work for ITS, how how do I access that information?
Environment
- TeamDynamix (Coyote One Stop)
Cause
Resolution
- Employees working on projects being managed by ITS who do not work for ITS, can be given access to view the project in Coyote One Stop
- The ITS project manager will need to open a ticket and assign it to the PMO
- Once the employee is added, they will be able to see projects they are assigned to or are a stakeholder on in Coyote One Stop by clicking on Projects at the top of the page
- Using the Tiles or Grid view, click the Project you have access to that you would like more information on
- The following areas are available
- Details - provides an overview of the project
- Feed - review new items, edits, status changes or comments
- Uncheck or check to review particular changes
- Click Apply Filter
- Use Comment to notify project participants
- Briefcase - contains project documents
- Contacts - contains project resources
- Issues - used to document issues or actions items
Note: these are entered by the project manager
- Risks - used to document risk and plan migrations
Note: these are entered by the project manager
- Links - used to document project links, such as links to Teams sites
- Plans - contains two sections
- My Tasks (task you are assigned to)
- Click task for more details
- Comment can be used to notify projects participants out of the project task
- Click Comment
- In Notify start typing name of person you would to notify or select and remove those you do not want to include
- Add message
- Click Save
- Email will be sent to those listed in notify
- Message will be documented in the task feed
- Plans (project plans)
- Click Plans Name for more details
