Microsoft Teams Error After Changing My Password

Issue/Question

I changed my password recently and TEAMS asked me to login then gives an error

Error:  An error occurred  An error occurred. Contact your administrator for more information.

Environment

• Windows 11
• MS Teams

Cause

Need to sign into Teams with new password

Resolution

1. Log out of Teams and log back in
   1. Click on the circle (with your initials or photo) in the top right corner of the teams window
   2. Click Sign out
   3. Click Sign out again
   4. Select your account under Pick an account to continue
   5. Enter your credentials including your new password
