Recording with PowerPoint in Panopto

Question

How do I record while using a PowerPoint in Panopto? 

Answer

1. Under Secondary Sources, make sure that Capture PowerPoint is checked
             a. If you would also like to record yourself, set the Primary Source to your webcam
             b. Also, make sure the Audio Source is set to a microphone
2. Select the PowerPoint tab at the top, and click Open a Presentation
3. Locate and select the PowerPoint you wish to use for the recording
4. A pop up will appear asking if you wish to start recording
           a. Yes, will open the PowerPoint in presentation mode and will begin recording
           b. No, will not start recording
5. Click the Record button in the left-hand corner to begin recording
           a. If the PowerPoint does not open in presentation mode, you will have to manually open the PowerPoint and put it in presentation mode
6. Once you are done recording, navigate back to the Panopto Recorder and click Stop in the upper left-hand corner
