Requesting an Internet Protocol (IP) address for Building Controls

Issue/Question

I need to request an ip address for building controls

We are installing a new Network Automation Engine (NAE) and need an IP address to assign it to report back to Metasys server

Environment

  • Johnson Controls (JCI)
  • Building Controls
  • Metasys

Cause

 

Resolution

Please contact the Service Desk with the following information:

  1. Media Access Control (MAC) Address
  2. Type, make, and model
  3. Location
  4. Which Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN) is to be used (if known)
